YAAD January 2026

The Ahalia Group of Institutions, Palakkad, in association with AHALIA YAAD (Youth Against Alcohol and Drugs), organized an awareness program titled “Addiction: The Psychological Perspective” on 20th January 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at BSS Higher Secondary School, Kollengode, Palakkad. The session was led by Ms. Medha C S, Counselling Psychologist, who provided valuable insights into addiction from a psychological viewpoint, highlighting its causes, effects on mental health, and the importance of prevention among youth.  A flash mob performed by students of the Ahalia School of Optometry & Research Centre effectively reinforced the anti-drug message, making the program engaging and impactful.
