Onam Celebration 2025

The Jwala Union in association with Hercavoz successfully organized this year’s Onam celebrations in our college with great enthusiasm and unity.

The program commenced at 9:30 AM with a vibrant Thiruvathira performance presented by students from all batches, marking a graceful start to the day’s festivities.

Following this, the rhythmic beats of Chenda Melam began and continued till around 11:30 AM. The energetic performance filled the campus with festive spirit as students and teachers alike joined in the celebrations, creating a truly majestic atmosphere.

Accompanied by the beats of Chenda, the grand entry of Mahabali added colour and tradition to the event, delighting the audience.

The celebrations then moved on to various fun games and traditional competitions. Exciting events such as Uriyadi and Vadamvali (tug of war) were conducted. In the tug of war, the team led by Absul Sir emerged victorious and received the prize of the traditional pazhakola.

The highlight of the celebration was the grand Onasadya, served at 1:00 PM, complete with delicious varieties and traditional payasam. With this hearty meal, the program came to a memorable conclusion.

The Onam celebrations this year truly reflected the spirit of togetherness, joy, and cultural pride, leaving behind unforgettable memories for all.
