Olympia Sports Day 2024

Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences, in collaboration with the Rithwa College Union, successfully organized the Sports Meet “Olympia 24” on 29th August 2024, at the Ahalia Public School Ground. This event was a part of the 78th Independence Day celebrations and commenced with a powerful anti-narcotic message, in line with the directives from the Kerala University of Health Sciences.

The program was officially inaugurated by Dr. Sreejith M. Nair, the Principal of Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences, who delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of sports in holistic education. Following the inauguration, Mr. Bibin B., the Physical Education Instructor, provided the students with essential instructions for the day’s events, emphasizing the value of sportsmanship and fair play.

The students were divided into three competitive teams: Alpha, Titans, and War Heads. Throughout the day, the teams participated in various sports activities, showcasing their athletic talents and teamwork. The sports meet was marked by intense competition, enthusiasm, and the collective spirit of the participants.

Following the inauguration, Mr. Bibin B., the Physical Education Instructor, provided detailed instructions to the participants, ensuring the smooth execution of the day’s events.

At the end of the day, the Titans team emerged as the overall champions, securing 52 points. Their consistent performance across various events earned them the top spot. The War Heads team came in second with 33 points, followed closely by the Alpha team, which secured 30 points.

Special recognition was given to Mr. Akmal Taj, a Fourth Year B.Sc. MLT student, and Neja Sherin, a Second Year B.Sc. MLT student, who were named the Best Individual Performers for their outstanding contributions to their teams.
