Mystic Mind – Know Your Thoughts
The program titled “Mystic Mind – Know Your Thoughts” was successfully conducted as a three-hour interactive session on 31st July 2025, from 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., at the AWACH Auditorium, Ahalia Campus, organized under the Youth Against Alcohol and Drugs (YAAD) initiative by the Ahalia Group of Institutions, the event was held in association with Excise Department, Kerala State Excise Staff Association and the Kerala State Excise Officers’ Association, with the objective of promoting mental wellness, self-awareness and preventive education against substance abuse.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. Sreejith M Nair, YAAD Coordinator, Presidential address by Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor,Executive Director,Academics.The session was inaugurated by Mr. Prince Babu, Deputy Excise Commissioner, Palakkad.
Shri V P Mahesh, State Secretary,Kerala State Excise Staff Association and Shri Kaladharan V, State Secretary,Kerala State Excise Staff Association felicitated the program. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Padmaavathy P A, Associate Professor, Ahalia School of Management.
The highlight of the program was an engaging and insightful session led by Mr. AJMAL (Petrax), a renowned hypnotist, mentalist, mesmerist, counsellor and social media influencer, accompanied by a four-member team which included two doctors. Through live demonstrations, psychological exercises and interactive activities, the resource team captivated the audience and explored themes such as the power of thoughts, subconscious influence and emotional regulation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty and excise department officials, creating a vibrant atmosphere that encouraged self-reflection and positive behavioral shifts. The program also emphasized the importance of mental health as a tool for personal growth and as a preventive measure against addiction. Visually and symbolically, the event reflected its collaborative spirit by featuring the official logos of Ahalia YAAD, Ahalia Group of Institutions, the Excise Department, and Vimukthi, signifying a united effort towards building a drug-free and mentally resilient society. The session not only educated but inspired the attendees, leaving a lasting impression through a blend of science, psychology and public engagement.
