The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a two-year allied health science program offered under the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Kerala. The course equips students with the skills and knowledge required to perform diagnostic tests in medical laboratories. It includes training in areas such as clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Blood Bank, Molecular Diagnosis and all other recent areas in Laboratory Medicine.

Students gain hands-on experience through clinical postings in hospitals and NABL accredited laboratories, preparing them for roles as Medical Laboratory Technicians in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and research institutions.

Students who have passed Higher Secondary (Plus Two) with Biology Science and secured a minimum of 50% marks.
