B.Sc. MLT students visited Mannuthy veterinary college

The Second year B.Sc. MLT students visited Mannuthy veterinary college (Parasitology and Small breeding animal station), Thrissur as part of their academic activity, guided by faculty members Mrs. Sruthi and Ms. Malavika. The visit aimed to observe laboratory animals are kept, fed and cared for. And to learn about different parasites that infect humans and animals.
Students observed different varieties of human and animal parasites. On small animal breeding station, they observed different types of lab animals like mice, guinea pig and rabbit etc. Lab in charge informed about how to handle anima and how to collect blood from them.
The visit was a meaningful experience for both the students and the faculties.
