AHALIA SILEX 2K24

The 23rd South Indian Conference and 10th National Conference, AHALIA SILEX 2K24, organized by the Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences and the Students’ Association of Medical Laboratory Technologists, was held on December 14 at the Ahalia Campus. The event attracted 3,000 participants, including students, educators, and professionals from over 50 paramedical colleges, fostering academic excellence and professional collaboration.

The program began with a flag-hoisting ceremony and an inaugural address by Dr. Kavitha Ravi, Dean of KUHS Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, in the esteemed presence of Smt. Shreya Gopal, Trustee of Ahalia International Foundation. This was followed by a presidential address by Dr. Sreejith M. Nair, Principal of Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences. Mr. E.P.B. Rajithan, Vice President, Academics, addressed the students, while Dr. M. Pradeep Kumar, Chairman of the Board of Studies in Medical Laboratory Technology at KUHS, delivered a keynote on the role of medical laboratory professionals in healthcare. The event also included felicitations by notable dignitaries such as Mr. Jayakumar N., President of KMFA, and Mr. Shanajlal, Treasurer of CLPA.

SILEX 2K24 featured research presentations, quizzes, model competitions, and poster exhibitions, alongside cultural performances by bands like Bro House and Marzi Live. Workshops, including an immunofluorescence session by Dr. Srinivas Chakravarthy and a motivational talk by Praveen Chirayath, enriched the event. The contributions of Dr. Bijurani and Dr. Deepa Ravi to paramedical education were recognized and honored. Dr. Krishnakumar Kishor, Executive Director of the Ahalia Group of Institutions, delivered the closing address at 5:30 PM, marking the conclusion of an inspiring and successful event.
