One-Day Yoga Programme – SWASTHA

Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences, Palakkad successfully organized a one-day yoga programme titled
“SWASTHA” on 01 July 2027 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the AWACH Auditorium, Ahalia Campus.

The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and
a healthy lifestyle among the students. The yoga session was led by Mr. Umesan E., Yoga Trainer, who
guided the participants through various yoga postures, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and relaxation
techniques. He explained the significance of regular yoga practice in improving flexibility, concentration,
stress management, and overall health.

The programme was graced by the presence of Mr. Sreejith M. Nair, Principal, Ahalia School of
Paramedical Sciences, Palakkad. In his inaugural address, the Principal emphasized the importance of
incorporating yoga into daily life. He highlighted that regular yoga practice helps maintain physical
fitness, enhances mental peace, reduces stress, improves concentration, and contributes to the overall
development of students. He encouraged all students to make yoga a regular part of their daily routine
to lead a healthy and balanced life.

The students actively participated in the session with great enthusiasm and benefited from the practical
guidance provided by the yoga trainer. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing
gratitude to the resource person, the Principal, faculty members, and all the students for their
enthusiastic participation and support in making the event a success.

The “SWASTHA” yoga programme was highly informative and inspiring, reinforcing the importance of
yoga as an essential component of a healthy lifestyle.
