Nutrition Microbiome Interaction : The Scene Behind Prebiotics & Probiotics

The Monthly Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on “Nutrition–Microbiome Interaction: The Science Behind Prebiotics & Probiotics” was successfully conducted on 15 December 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ahalia Diabetes Hospital Auditorium.

The session was delivered by Mr. Viswanath C G, Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences. He provided an insightful overview of the relationship between nutrition and the gut microbiome, highlighting the scientific basis, health benefits, and clinical relevance of prebiotics and probiotics. The talk enhanced the participants’ understanding of the role of microbiota in maintaining health and preventing disease.
